This project focuses on designing a mobile-first eCommerce app UI dedicated to selling jeans, with the goal of making the shopping journey effortless, engaging, and personalized. The case study explores how users discover, evaluate, and purchase jeans through a seamless flow — from intuitive onboarding and category navigation to interactive product detail pages and a streamlined checkout process.

Overall, this case study highlights how thoughtful UX decisions balance fashion storytelling with functionality, resulting in an app that is stylish, user-friendly, and conversion-driven.

Competitive Analysis

I think in India users are mostly like the brand Levies for the Jeans so that's why I sleeted the Levi’s and Shoppers Stop as a competitor.

They also use Myntra for purchasing some low rang products.

01_Levi’s

Levi’s desire to attaining superior profitability and high rates of the return of investments resulting.

Levi’s statement specifies the target market, which in this case involves the satisfaction of the community and the society as a whole in the purchase and use of their product which is done with high ethical conduct and social responsibility which motivates customers and gets their trust and loyalty.

  • The dashboard page of the app is top search bar and 5 categories (Men, Women, New, Collection, Sale) with background wallpaper it’s attractive and clear design.
  • Also I like the design of search bar.
  • The filter page I like the most it’s clean and clear, and also with all the options like categories, size, fit, and style so the user have to much of options to filter the item.

  • The 5 categories in bottom nav bar is not looks good and also the icon of categories is not attractive.
  • In the product listing page there was no option to add favorites.

When a user opens the app, they'll first be presented with a filter page. From here, they can select their size, budget, or brand, and even search for the jeans they want.

Item Listing Page

This page will show the user's searched items or filtered items. Through which the user can select any item and add it to cart or add it to favorites, or can select the item and check more details about it.

This page provides a description of the product and some color options. The user also has the option to change the size.

The user can also add the product to the cart and the quantity also.

The cart page will display all the items added by the user and their total. User can also delete any item and can also increase the quantity of any item. And if the user wants to purchase the items in the cart, he can click the “proceed to pay” button for redirecting the payment page.

Challenge

User 01 :

“I use the Myntra app for purchasing jeans and I like the app also I find the perfect jeans which I want from this app and I know my size. So, their is no issue of size”.

“Only 1 or 2 time I purchase jeans from online and I don’t satisfy because every time I see size chart and order a right size but when the product was delivered the size is not fit”.

Filter Options

When a user opens the app, they'll first be presented with a filter page. From here, they can select their size, budget, or brand, and even search for the jeans they want.

Item Listing Page

This page will show the user's searched items or filtered items. Through which the user can select any item and add it to cart or add it to favorites, or can select the item and check more details about it.

Item Description

This page provides a description of the product and some color options. The user also has the option to change the size.

The user can also add the product to the cart and the quantity also.

Cart Page

The cart page will display all the items added by the user and their total. User can also delete any item and can also increase the quantity of any item. And if the user wants to purchase the items in the cart, he can click the “proceed to pay” button for redirecting the payment page.

Profile Page

The main purpose of this page is to enable the user to track his order and place any return request if required.

Users can also add their personal details on this page such as profile image, name, address, phone number and email.

Challenge

  • Jeans sizing varies widely across brands and styles, making it hard for users to find their correct fit.
  • The challenge is presenting options without overwhelming the user.
  • Users rely heavily on product images to judge fabric, color, and fit.
  • With jeans, users fear fake or low-quality items.
  • The challenge is keeping filters intuitive and not cluttered.

Lesson learned

  • Jeans are not just utility — they’re fashion + lifestyle.
  • First-time buyers hesitate without assurance. Highlighting verified reviews, material quality, and easy return policies built trust.
  • Users want to find their perfect pair fast.
  • Users abandon carts when unsure about fit.
